vampires`
contrary to myth and legend, the vampire is easily blended into society. they are typically attractive, making it easier to sway their prey in their favor. at times, they are given heightened abilities that are a reflection of possible anomalies during their lives. they all have blinding speed, stone hard skin, and they glitter like diamonds in the sunlight. because of this, they have to go to great lengths to hide their true natures. they do not eat food, and only require blood as sustenance. society does not know that they exist aside from stories told beneath the guise of fantasy.
werewolves`
as one would assume, werewolves are the only true predators capable of bringing down a vampire. they are titan strong, with sleek muscles and jaws build to tear open the rocky flesh of their bloodsucking counterparts. they have the appearance of normal wolves, but their size is quite larger. they are about the size of horses, with just as much bite as they have bark. they can rip a vampire to pieces with their brute strength, and have legs that can carry them as quickly as the vampires can run. a formidable enemy to their red-eyed foes. as such creatures of legend, they hide their true selves from all but their own kind. some vampires don't even believe they truly exist. all are descendant from a special line of native americans, and most live on the la push reserve. in their humanoid form, they are quite average, but always emit a higher than human temperature.
humans`
humans are the chief inhabitants of the earth. they have no special powers or different forms. their core humanity, as well as their ignorance, makes some of their mythical brethren jealous. none believe in the myths of vampires and werewolves beyond the realm of the closest fiction novel. though they seem ordinary, it is a rare anomaly among humans for some to be immune to the abilities of vampires. this case is exceedingly rare, however, and has not occurred in an extremely long time.
